Is it necessary to have a visa to go to Disney?

One of the most frequent questions we receive is: Do I need a visa to go to Disney? The answer depends on your nationality.
Visa or ESTA: Requirements according to your country of origin
Visa Waiver Countries (Visa Waiver Program - VWP)
If you are a citizen of a country that is part of the Visa Waiver Program, such as Spain, Chile or some European countries, you do not need a tourist visa. Instead, you must apply for an ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) before traveling. This permit is valid for two years or until your passport expires.
Countries requiring a tourist visa
If you are a citizen of Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru or another country that is not part of the VWP, you will need a tourist visa (B1/B2) to enter the United States. This visa is processed at the U.S. embassy or consulate of your country and is usually valid for several years.
Visa or ESTA Application Tips
If you need a visa: We recommend you to start the process in advance, since the appointments for the interview at the embassy may have delays depending on the demand.
If you apply for ESTA: Be sure to complete it on the official U.S. government website at least 72 hours before your trip.
Check the validity of your passport: It must be valid for at least six months after your date of entry to the United States.
