Disney Adventure World

Located inside Disneyland Paris, we at Magic Holidays want to tell you about Disney Adventure World, the park that marks a new stage in the Disney experience at Europe. Opening on March 29, 2026, it was born from the total transformation of the former Walt Disney Studios® Park, leaving behind its movie-based concept to make way for something much more immersive. Today, when you tour Disney Adventure World, you're not just visiting a park: you become part of the stories, entering worlds like Frozen, Marvel and Pixar. For us, it's a key evolution within Disneyland Paris and an experience you'll definitely want to include in your next trip.

History of the Park

The park we knew as Walt Disney Studios® Park opened its doors in 2002 with a concept centered on “how movies are made.”.

However, over time, Disney decided to reinvent it to adapt it to what travelers are looking for today: immersive experiences and worlds where stories come to life.

This is how Disney Adventure World is born 👇

Areas

  • World of Frozen: An immersive themed area that recreates the kingdom of Arendelle, located next to Adventure Bay Lake.
  • Adventure Way: A picturesque central walkway connecting the entrance to the lake, surrounded by themed gardens.
  • Marvel Avengers Campus: Area dedicated to the Marvel universe, where visitors train with superheroes.
  • Worlds of Pixar: An area dedicated to Pixar stories, including attractions such as Crush's Coaster and Ratatouille: The Adventure.
  • World Premiere Plaza: An Art Deco themed area that serves as the entrance and entertainment area.

Frequently Asked Questions about Disney Adventure World

Just like in Disneyland Park®, Disney Adventure World features the fastpass system. It works through the Disney Premier Access system, which is a paid service that allows you to skip the traditional queues for some of the most popular attractions.

Currently you have two ways to use it:

👉 Disney Premier Access Ultimate.

  • Access to several attractions (once each)
  • No assigned schedules
  • Enter directly through the fast lane whenever you want

👉 Disney Premier Access One.

  • You purchase quick access to one attraction.
  • You are assigned a specific schedule
  • You only use it once

In both cases, when you buy it (from the app or inside the park), you receive a QR code that you scan at the entrance of the fast lane.

The Walt Disney Studios Park attractions are not disappearing, but are part of the larger transformation to Disney Adventure World. Many of these are being maintained and integrated within the new themed areas, while others are being revamped or reimagined to offer more modern and immersive experiences.

This change aims to take the park to a new level, combining classic attractions that we already know with new experiences such as World of Frozen and future expansions that will continue to come in the coming years.

One of the big stars will be the World of Frozen area, which will include an attraction inspired by the Frozen story, plus restaurants, stores and character encounters in a fully themed environment.

Disney Adventure World is designed for all ages. Although it has ideal experiences for children, it also includes attractions, shows and settings that adults enjoy very much.

In fact, this park is aimed at a wider audience than the classic Disney park, with more immersive proposals, advanced technology and themed areas that connect with both families and fans of Disney, Pixar and major productions.

Yes, it is possible to tour Disney Adventure World in one day, especially if you organize your visit well. However, being a park in full expansion, with new areas such as World of Frozen, the ideal is to dedicate at least a full day and even combine it with another park in the complex Disneyland Paris.

If you want to make the most of your time, we recommend:

  • Arrive early
  • Prioritize the most popular attractions
  • Evaluate the use of Disney Premier Access
