New rules for Disney Springs: what changes starting June 28 and how it can affect your visit
If you're planning your next vacation at Walt Disney World, there's an important update you should know about. Starting June 28, Disney will implement new measures to control access to the transportation services that connect Disney Springs to the resort's hotels.
At Magic Holidays, we want to tell you in a simple way what's changing, who it affects, and how to better organize your trip to avoid any inconvenience.
What's changing at Disney Springs?
For years, many visitors used an alternative to avoid the cost of theme park parking: they would leave their vehicle at Disney Springs (where parking is free) and then use Disney's buses or boats to travel to the Disney hotels and from there continue to the parks.
With the new measures, Disney will close this possibility.

If you are a Disney guest, here’s how you can visit other hotels
If you're staying within Walt Disney World and wish to travel to other resort hotels, Disney recommends continuing to use the traditional system:
Disney Hotel → Theme Park → Other Disney Hotel
This will remain the simplest and most efficient way to get around between resorts.
Why is Disney implementing this change?
The main goal is to ensure the transportation systems within the resort are used by guests, visitors with reservations, and Disney hotel customers.
Additionally, Disney seeks to reduce the misuse of the free Disney Springs parking as an alternative for accessing the theme parks.
