Where is Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge?
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is located at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, within Walt Disney World Resort, in Orlando (Florida). There is also a version of this themed land at Disneyland Park, California.
Instead of being an independent park, Galaxy’s Edge is an immersive section of the park. Its setting is Black Spire Outpost, on the planet Batuu: Streets, ships, locations and unexpected encounters that recreate the Star Wars universe.
The two adventures you can't miss
They are not the same experience. One allows you to participate in a mission aboard the Millennium Falcon; the other places you in the middle of a confrontation with the First Order.
01 · Interactive experienceMillennium Falcon: Smugglers Run
I went up into the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon and became part of a crew of up to six people. You can take on one of three roles: pilot, gunner or engineer. What each member does influences the development of the mission.
Newness of 2026: The adventure incorporates The Mandalorian and Grogu, With the possibility of choosing destinations such as Bespin, Coruscant, or the vicinity of Endor, depending on the dynamics of the mission.
02 · Immersive MissionStar Wars: Rise of the Resistance
A large-scale adventure that combines cinematic settings, vehicles, special effects, and ride technology. The story places you in a Resistance mission that quickly becomes complicated.
Important: It no longer works with virtual queue. You can use the Traditional waiting line or acquire, if available, one Lightning Lane Single Pass. It can also be included in the Premier Pass.

Savi’s Workshop: Handbuilt Lightsabers
An experience of building light sails in a themed workshop. The activity has additional cost and it usually requires advance reservations due to its popularity. Please check the conditions, availability, and official policies before traveling.
Droid Depot
I chose the pieces and customized my own astromech droid. It also requires payment and advance reservations are recommended, although there may be limited space for unreserved visits.
Encounters and corners of Batuu
Pay attention to the interactions with characters, the ambient sounds, the shops, and the details of Black Spire Outpost. Not all encounters have fixed schedules or are guaranteed.

- Don't look for a virtual queue for Rise of the Resistance: Currently, entry is made through the normal queue or the corresponding Lightning Lane passes.
- Rate Lightning Lane based on the attraction: Rise of the Resistance is a single pass game and Smugglers Run is a multi pass game.
- Book in advance Savi’s Workshop, Droid Depot and Oga’s Cantina are part of your plan.
- Come back at night if you can: The lighting and the atmosphere make Batuu feel different.

Galaxy’s Edge in Orlando is inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It is not part of Universal and you do not have to buy a separate ticket.
